EXPERIENCE

Instrumentalist
August 2012—Present

     -      Proficient in woodwind instruments (clarinet, bass clarinet, alto & tenor saxophone) and currently learning guitar and piano.

     -      Conducted the SUNY Oneonta Woodwind Ensemble in Spring 2023, including leading rehearsals and performances.

     -     Performed as a vocalist in local rock ensembles at venues like B-Side and Black Oak Tavern, and participated in musical theatre        as an actor, vocalist, and in technical roles (sound and stage) for various productions at Hedgesville High School.

     -     Played bass clarinet for marching and concert bands, performing at Hershey Park and Dorney Park.

Paint Customer Service Associate/Salesman at Lowe’s Home Improvement

September 2023—Present  

-       Assist customers with questions and locating products for their projects, fulfill orders and deliveries, and load their orders.

-       Coordinate with a team to stock shelves, inventory products, and create smooth transitions between one team to the next.

-       Certified on counterbalance forklift, order retriever (palletized), drivable power-stocker lift, and is a certified trainer to new and tenured associates on power equipment.

Recording Studio Assistant at SUNY Oneonta

January 2024—May 2024

-       Maintained studio equipment by taking inventory of equipment, making sure the equipment was working, and organizing equipment into proper locations. 

-       Collaborated with student musicians by assisting in their studio setups, including microphones, monitors, DAWs (Ableton, Logic, ProTools, etc.), and drum kits for sessions. 

-       Worked as a team with other Recording Studio Assistants to coordinate shifts, inventory updates, studio updates, and Live Setup and Sound. 

-       Lifted and transported equipment to and from concert and rehearsal spaces. 

The Water is Me Internship 

August 2023—May 2024 

Operations Manager/Scheduling Lead

-       Worked with a team to develop and implement an experimental project with a class of ten to fifteen students. 

-       Collaborated with musicians to create and score a piece using live sound, Sibileus, and ProTools.

-       Organized and lead team meetings, wrote minutes, and created agendas. 

-       Planned monthly visits for the artist in residence, including meetings inside and outside the organization. 

Worked in a studio environment with other interns to record and mix a piece of music for clientele.

Gender and Sexuality Resource Center at SUNY Oneonta                                           

September 2021—Present

Student Coordinator | PR/Marketing/Graphics/Office Management

• Help students and faculty members of the college feel safe and at home on campus.

• Host and plan educational and social events for the community to attend.

• Create graphics and marketing materials, including but not limited to flyers, pin designs, logos, and social media imagery.

• Provide insight to the LGBTQIA+ community as a peer to help coach and give a safe space for others to confide in.

• Volunteered in the Color Run 5k in 2022 as a runner and as a check-in assistant. 

• Planned, contracted musicians, and ran a music festival showcasing LGBTQ+ musicians and allies.

• Assist 20 undergraduate students with personal and academic issues, including issues relating to the LGBTQIA+ community.

• Develop educational and social programs for a freshman year and transfer building with approximately 150 residents.

• Lead programs related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Regulated a safe living environment for residents.

• Serves on this committee as an Events Coordinator and Evaluations Coordinator.

• Plans events and designed logos for the conference.

• Assists the Chair in evaluating the numbers, data, and money totals of the Conference. 

• Handled the video recording and sound system for the Drag Ball and the conference keynote in 2022.
